Where to start? Well…when I made a short trip down I-45 the other weekend I was lucky enough to spend time with three of my very best friends and their bitty babies (and my super fun SIL + kiddos…but those are to come.) The first stop? My old roommate’s place…which has now become my personal choice for a B&B when we’re in town. Holy cute baby – he did not stop smiling the entire time…except for when he slept through the night and took long naps…what a perfect kid. His mom’s hot stuff too, huh!? (ps. click on the above link to see how much he’s grown.)
After seeing our Aunt J during the day, we spent Friday evening with the K family. Andrew was in HEAVEN with all of baby blue’s toys (yes, I think you have enough!) The next morning (after yummy french toast) we ventured outside in the lovely heat + humidity to do what else? mow the driveway! duh. and of course…leave it to my child to find the neighbor’s sprinkler – that was the beginning of double digit outfit changes. You’ll be seeing more of these friends in the coming months as they are awaiting a little sister!!
and last but not least…look how much this pretty princess has grown!!! Her newborn session is one that lots of potential clients reference when sharing their vision for their own shoot. She is so strong and beautiful (not to mention those lovely lips) – at only four months old…look at her prop herself up and she’s even starting to rock back and forth! Soon, she’ll be calling me on mom’s phone. Speaking of, thank you, Aunt C, for ALL of the way cool toys you got for the back yard and for us to take home – Andrew played his little heart out…and thanks to little one’s dad for grilling – we were very well fed on this trip.
All in all…I couldn’t be more thankful to my friends for always being there for my family and me. It gives me chills to see you with your kids – really, we are this grown up?? Love you more than you know.
Mom – you deserve mention for driving us to and fro 🙂 love you too, of course.
